Your prospecting, in one window instead of twelve tabs.

Most editors look for clients with YouTube open in one tab, a spreadsheet in another, and DMs scattered across four apps. Jota's Brain puts the search, the contact details, the outreach, and the follow-up in the same place. Here's how the app is laid out.

From a niche to a signed client, in four stages.

The workflow follows the stages the app uses for every lead. The colors below are the same ones you'll see in your Pipeline.

  1. 1Discover

Type a niche, then narrow it down.

Start broad, like “minecraft”, then add refinements like “smp, hardcore”. Set a subscriber range, a minimum score, up to two countries, and the contact types a channel must have. The search runs in rounds and stops on its own when new channels start costing too much quota for what they return.

    Filters

Using more filters increases YouTube API quota consumption.

  2. 2Review

See why a channel scored the way it did.

Every channel gets a score from 0 to 100, built from four things you can check: how often they post, their average views, their subscriber count, and how many videos they've published. Contacts come from what the creator lists in their channel description. When a channel lists nothing, the app says “No contact found” instead of guessing.

  3. 3Organize

Save the good ones to your Pipeline.

One click moves results into the Pipeline, where each lead keeps its stage, notes, favorite star, and every contact link on a single row. Search it, sort by score or views, and export to CSV or JSON whenever you need the list somewhere else.

  4. 4Track

Move leads forward and see what's working.

Change a lead's stage as the conversation moves: New, Contacted, In Talks, Client, or Declined. Overview turns those stages into a funnel. Analytics shows your reply rate by platform, how many contacts you made each week, and which templates and niches bring in clients.

The details that make it usable every week.

Finding a channel is the easy part. These are the parts that keep prospecting from turning into a mess.

Start from a channel you already like

Paste the name or URL of a past client or a channel you'd love to edit for. Jota's Brain reads its keywords and recent videos, then finds other creators covering the same topics, with the option to hide channels you've already seen.

Channel name or URL

https://youtube.com/@YourPastClient

Topics taken from the channel: hardcoresurvival100 daysmodded

Spot channels while they're growing

Radar starts from recent videos instead of channels. Pick a topic and a window of 7, 30, or 90 days, then sort by views per day or views per subscriber. Each result shows the video that put the channel on the radar.

Sort by Views per day Published in the last 30 days

  • I Survived 100 Days in a Hardcore Cave WorldCobble Theory · 7.6K subscribers4.1Kavg/day
  • Building a Mega Base in Hardcore SMPPixel Pact · 12.9K subscribers2.7Kavg/day

Quota you can see before you spend it

YouTube gives each API key 10,000 units a day. The quota bar shows what you've used, Advanced search lets you cap what one search can spend, and if you add more keys, the next one takes over when one runs out.

Messages that fill themselves in

Templates cover cold and warm first contact, two follow-ups, a reply for interested leads, and a closing note. Pick a lead and the text fills in the creator's name, channel, and stats. Mark it as sent and the contact is logged for Analytics.

First contact — cold

Hey Hardcore, I've been watching Hardcore Hollow and the last few uploads are really tight. I edit long-form survival videos and would love to cut one for you as a sample. — Sam

Also in the app

  • AI help for templates. Ask for “shorter” or “more casual” and approve the suggestion before it's applied. Uses a free Groq or Gemini key you add.
  • Search history. Every query you've run and how many channels it returned.
  • CSV and JSON export. Take your lead list into a spreadsheet or another tool.
  • Invoices. Create invoices for a lead, track what's been paid, and save PDFs.
  • English and Portuguese. Switch the whole interface from your profile.
  • Local password. A simple lock so the app isn't wide open on a shared computer.

For people who edit for a living and would rather not dig through YouTube by hand.

The editor with a niche

You cut gaming, fitness, or finance videos and want more channels like the ones you've already worked with. Run Similar on a past client's channel, set a subscriber range that fits your rates, and save the ones that list a business email.

The freelancer juggling outreach

You've sent forty DMs across email, Discord, and X, and can't remember who answered. Stages, notes, and logged contacts keep it straight, and the follow-up templates are ready when someone goes quiet.

The creative building a routine

You want prospecting to be a weekly habit instead of a scramble when work dries up. Run a search on Monday, reach out to a handful of channels, and check Analytics at the end of the month to see which platforms and messages get replies.

Jota's Brain helps you find and organize prospects. It can't promise replies or clients. Your pitch and your portfolio still do that part.

Spend less time hunting for clients and more time editing.

Install Jota's Brain, add your free YouTube API key, and run your first search in a few minutes.
